This is for the CAS challenge this week (CAS#244 - tearing / distressing).
I torn a piece of white card stock and used both sides to create the two banks of snow. I sponged Smoky Slate ink along the tops and added dazzling diamonds for some sparkle. The banks are popped up from the card front for added dimension.
I die-cut the tree from copper sheet and then heated the copper with my mini torch until it changed colors. I layered the copper die-cut on top of two white card stock die-cuts of the tree, gluing them together to create a thick element.

WOW the impact of the tree is something else! If I ever get out your way I would love to learn this! I never thought it was possible to do a CAS card with tearing but if anyone can do it, you can!
