Hello again friends,
I did this one for my grandmother and my mom really. They were both fashionistas (my poor mom got stuck with me...a total tomboy, cowgirl till I was grown). Still a cowgirl at heart at least.
I have so many pictures of my mom so fashionable!
My mom was known for her hospitality, I think it is a Texan thing.
My grandmother (Nana) could have worn something like this dress as a girl. She was the sweetest thing...always wanting us to eat more!! She was Texan too! That's what happened to me, I didn't have a chance!!

Robin, I am blown away by your coloring and fact that you do so many beautiful cards all in a day! This image is fabulous and love that elegant frame you used for her. Your grandmother and mom must be quite the ladies!

It's a beautiful card and a lovely way of thinking of your Mom and Grandmother. Colored perfectly and I really like that covered button.
I think Grandmothers just loved to cook for their loved ones and see them eat and enjoy it. She sounds like she was a real sweetie.

What a beautiful tribute to your Nana and Mom, Robin! Though I have to say, I'm soooo glad we don't wear corsets today! I love the beautiful shades of lavender/purple!
