For today's HYCCT challenge you are to make a card honoring someone older than you that means a lot to you. I have a great deal of love and respect for a former supervisor of mine who has taken me under her wing and I respectfully call her "Mom". She's an 82 year old spit fire who's still working not for financial reasons but because she like to be around people.
Vintage is NOT my style so what I feel is vintage about this card is the oval shape, the intricate embossing, and the stamped image.

Oh I think this is perfect! Your stamp truly represents an era gone by and that says vintage to me! Thank you for sharing about your "Mom"! It makes me happy to learn of how she has inspired you....even now as she continues to work! Thank you for your lovely card, the embossing is so pretty, for sharing your inspiration and for playing along with my challenge!!!

Aw, what a beautiful story. You were very fortunate to have that kind of supervisor in your life. How wonderful that she's still able to work and mentor more ladies like you. Your card is beautiful. Love your oval shape and embossing which really gives a vintage feel.

I love the simplicity of this and that elegant embossing folder! The image does bring fond memories too! Got to sit on one of these once and have a profound respect for early cyclists! Wonderful card!
