If you know me you know I enjoy step cards and 3-D projects. This particular style was new to me when I came across it recently at Pinterest. There was a description on how to make the card base, but I thought it wasted paper - so I went to my trusty Silhouette Cameo and designed the layout myself.
I have some vintage postcards from my grandmother and some other postcards and paper I have bought with Vintage Santa's - While vintage is not my usual style it truly appeals to me at Christmastime. These are old enough I would never cut them up, but instead made a high quality copy. I had the background paper left from last year and think it is perfect for this scene. I am already doing a second card and using lots of glitter around the image - I think it will be little more vintage looking next time around.

Oh my gosh, Sherry, this is vintage at its best - what a t treasure to have some of those old postcards from your Grandmother, that you could make some gorgeous copies from. Was intrigued by the different base - you did a beautiful job on it - LOVE the framing of that vintage postcard image - just fantastic, cowgirl!!
