Kittie (Kittie747) asked us to make a scene of serenity with the optional use of pink. I just got this new birch tree release from Sutter Stamps and took this opportunity to ink it up. I mostly used stipple brushes instead of sponges, but I do need more practice. I tried to fix the white places on the trees a little with a gel pen, but didn't have a lot of success.
I love making scenic cards but they are always a challenge for me. I wish I had more time to practice, practice, practice! However, I think this is serene, and it does have pink.

I think clumps of birch trees are one of the most lovely things in the bush. I love the pink blush you've given them. Just like the sun rising. Beautiful.

What a beautiful card and love the color choices you used to create the peaceful scene! Agreed on scenic stamping. It's the ultimate challenge. I love the stippling too!
Your stipple technique looks beautiful and I don't see a need for more practice. I love the birch tree image and your colors around the scene are so lovely. Thanks for playing in my challenge.
