Very interesting sketch today & I thought this scarecrow image would work out well if I turned the sketch on its side. After I made the leaf background, I almost forgot it was supposed to be 2 panels, so I had to quick cut it in half. I used a bunch of chalk ink colors from 2 little queue stacks. The rust bg was textured with a Cheery Lynn texture plate & I used Spellbinders bracket border dies on the olive green center panel & on the ends of the maroon horizontal panel. I also stamped the olive panel w/ a wheat stalk image using one of the gold chalk inks. I had to resize the long rectangle around the scarecrow and also do a little out of the box Nestie with him.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

this card, though quaint in image, has a country elegance to it as well.....I just love every detail and how you put your die cuts to such creative uses....you are a rockin, Julie

Oh isn't this guy adorable! Love how you colored him and how you used the bracket borders for your shaped center strip!
