My inspiration for this card I owe to this weeks Featured Stamper 350, ladybug91743. I enjoyed wandering through your gallery and chuckled at the whimsy of your style, but it was your Oriental Silhouette that I kept coming back to! So very beautiful and a tribute to the card you cased.
So I kept your Oriental theme with an Asian woman, a bit of bling, mine pearls, handmade Asian paper. I changed the layout, numbers of layers and colors.
This is also for HYCCT1310 Words to Inspire. Angela's cue was to use a phrase or quite that would encourage someone in their fight with cancer. I happen to believe that we are far stronger within ourselves than the outside circumstances. That strength, in my mind translates to an outward beauty that simply radiates. I wanted to create the most beautiful card I possibly could (the outward appearance) and hope to portray the depth of the SOUL.
For all those in the battle and waging the war on cancer, I pray you would simply *know* how beautiful you are, how much strength you have available to you, and most importantly, how very loved you are.
Thanks for the gift of your comments. And hey, hey, ladybug91743...have a super dee duper week in basking in all the cards created in your honor. Thank you for the inspiration.
