Hello friends,
I called this Tuolumne because it looks like a scene at the Tuolumne Meadows lodge. It is NOT the scene I started with in my mind but you know how those things go. The bough and pine cones on the left of the scene are new (sort of ) from Elizabeth Craft Design. The stamps I'm afraid are very old, one from PSX (the background trees) and the other is from Stampa Rosa. The die cut trees in front are also Elizabeth Craft. It comes in like 5 sections so I did a set green and a set white shimmer. I added snow glitter to everything just about. Some of the BG trees and ground have Liquid Pearls-white then snow glitter. You really can't see much of the glitter. Still trying to figure out how to make it show up but it seems like I'm always in a hurry because SOMEONE or another needs me for something!! aaaah!!!
Shoot! could have added pink to the sky but I forgot about the pink part! Ratz!

This is a cool scene Robin!! I like the way you did the trees on both sides. The pine cones add that winter warmth. I really like your stamping and card making. :>)

Wow! Thank you so much for explaining how you did this wonderful scene Robin! I can see sparkly snow on your trees and in the foreground, so don't worry too much about it. Have to say, those pinecones are awesome! Beautiful card!!!
Robin, this is a beautiful and serene scene. I love the big snow covered evergreen trees and the pinecones and pine boughs on the side. Thank you so much for creating a scene for my challenge.

Oooh, this is lovely! I like the rich green that you used instead of the duller greens often used in scenes. I also think it looks best without the pink in the sky which might have detracted from these sharp images. And, the glistening snow/ice is beautiful too. Job well done, Robin!
