This is a birthday card I made for my good friend & fellow NEPA Giggler, Mary Ann (Geraldinesmom). I've been trying to do quilt cards for all the Gigglers this year. Mary Ann loves Halloween so when I saw this quilt pattern on Pinterest (unknown designer) I knew it would be perfect for her birthday card!
I usually use a 1" punch & a 3x3 quilt pattern but it would have been to big for this 5x7 quilt pattern card so I punched 3/4 squares instead. The pattern just fit on the front of an A2 card, not even room for a sentiment on the front. I hand cut a few of the squares to make triangles. I adhered the squares on grid paper then trimmed before placing the pumpkin on the black DSP. Then its run through the Big Shot using the SU Square Lattice embossing folder to give it that quilted look.
TFl!
