I feel very blessed to count this week's wonderful Queen, Susie Australia, as one of my pals! She is so thoughtful, kind and generous AND what an incredible artist!!! Her detailed step cards are phenomenal works of art!!!
I chose to case this lovely card: Paige Ellie by susie australia at Splitcoaststampers
I am not sure if you can see, but there are tea cups and tea pots on the background DP....that is how I have gotten to know this sweet Susie, thru her many incredible creations she lovingly makes to bring cheer to strangers in need.
Instead of a little girl, I used this copy of an actual photo. It is the grandmother of a girl I went to high school with in Missouri. I thought it was an awesome shot of her holding the newspaper that reads "Votes for Women". She sure was a beauty...as is our dear Queen!
Sorry for the wonky lighting, it is so foggy here this morning, and I have to go to the doctors...yet again! LOL Good thing I have insurance ;)
Susie, it is my sincere pleasure to honor you as Queen! Hope you have a wonderful week!!! xo
** Thanks Lois-This goes with the Fan Club's central theme, It's about Time!

Great photo, Kathleen! In fact, your whole card is just that -- great! I love the flourish with the yellow butterfly and the clock up in the corner (emulating the clock on Susie's card). This card would qualify for the Fan Club central theme this month -- It's About Time.

Kathleen, this is beautiful and the story so interesting about the photo. I do see those teacups in that gorgeous paper. Hope the doctor appt. goes well. It has been really foggy here today and guess it is there, too. Be careful.

What a cool story about that picture! I love how we chose the same card to CASE and came up with our own wonderful version of Susie's. We both managed to fit in a clock..hehe..I love how you have the teacups and teapot in the bg to signify your Teapot group. What an awesome and lovely tribute to Susie!!
