I was initially stumped when I saw Stacey's challenge to use animals as I don't have a lot of warm and furry critters in my collection. I'm not usually a colorer, but I'd picked up this House Mouse stamp on clearance as I loved the picture of friendship or mother love. I stamped the image in Versafine Smokey Grey and heat set this. I then used a blender pen and pastel sticks to color my mice and add some shading below. I sponged the blue. I ended up cutting this with a circle die as I wanted as much of the background to show as I could. I had a bunch of random scraps left from cutting the extra off my sunburst cards and I just started using Mod Podge to glue them to a base. I then used the Argyle ef to give the quilt effect. My embellishments are ribbon tied with some kite string. And the photo corners with brads. I dipped my brads in Versamark and embossed Early Espresso ep to match the color scheme.

Wowza! I love this! I'm partial to the mice. I used them for this challenge too, BUT your pieced together background, and the idea to emboss it was brilliant! Eeeek! So cute!
