I'm a bit behind on HYCCT Challenges after a busy weekend coupled with allergy/cold symptoms, but I've had so many ideas swirling around for Ardyth's challenge to make a peaceful, quiet scene with no sentiment. I've been spending a bit more time on Pinterest too and have been accumulating a lot of inspiration photos. This beautiful beach scene inspired this card. I cut a piece of watercolor paper then started out by drawing out my scene with watercolor crayons then used a wet brush to spread out the colors. I added some secondary colors once the first were dry. For my sky, I fingerpainted the clouds with acrylic paint from my dauber. For the water, I added foam with a white Sharpie paint pen, For the sand, I dotted on some texture with markers. For the grass I used markers to ink up just the grass on my image (omitting the flowers) and stamped in multiple colors. I took my markers and added the sea oats/wheat heads to some of the grass. My Bermuda Bay base is scored to make a frame for my scene.

WOW talk about creativity at it's finest! The word "draw" is the part that won't happen for me but you did an outstanding job of this! Love the grassy foreground and the imaginative way you captured that gorgeous photo! Fantastic card!
