I made this card for Angela's Words to Inspire You HYCCYT challenge today.
I stamped Fred Bear, masked him and stamped and sponged the grass in. The base is some Clairefontaine paper with the edges sponged with brown, image panel also sponged around the edges. I tied some twine on after stamping the sentiment, and then along the bottom I added a strip that I had trimmed off my butterfly card yesterday. I'd been trying out gilding flakes and had made a border all round my foil butterfly card, but I'd trimmed it off when I didn't like how it looked. I didn't want to waste the trimmings, so I kept the strips .

You are so funny keeping your trimmings but hey, why waste a pretty trimming when you can use it huh! Your backpacking bear is so cute, my DH would love it!! I really need to find a mtn. goat with a backpack, that would be perfect for him. I would name it mtn. goat Andy (that's what we call my DH). so anyway, love your card and sentiment...it is sooo darling!
