The thing that inspired me for this card apart from Kathy's challenge of using punches or dies was the DP. It is a very very pale pink with slightly darker music notes and a lace patten around the bottom and top then embossed with silver swirls and butter flies as well as grey lace butterflies, just gorgeous. It is really wedding paper but what the heck.
I cut the die with my Big Shot and three extra pieces of shim so that I would get a very clean cut with embossing if there was any (I hadn't used this die before) I then cut the background for the die which is included in the die pack and layed the doily onto the base,
I punched three ribbons and went around the edge with an SU silver pen.
I placed teh ribbons where two flowers had been the hope button over the spot where the hearts had been and then put the hearts to the side.
On the inside I mounted some more of the DP onto some Pixie Pink so that there was somewhere to right and placed another little ribbon punch in the corner and there you have it.
Loved this challenge Kathy great fun, thanks for looking.

Paper sound gorgeous in your description and I didn;t know you could get a ribbon punch - I must investigate. I like the way you offset the layering of your heart. A pretty way to combine all your elements.

Wow, Marg. You have outdone yourself with this beauty. This is so beautiful with various elements both subtle and bold. The base paper is truly beautiful and I see that launched all the creativity that followed. This is a fine example of what our dies can add to the design of the card. Wonderful! Thank you so much for participating in the challenge to 'Punch Out Breast Cancer' in the HYCCT challenges. Hope to see more of you throughout the month.
