A big Congrats to Darlene, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a wonderful gallery & there are several I'd like to case, but for my card I chose This card to case. I kept the multi pink colors and butterfly theme, but I used different images, used a die cut butterfly instead of stamped, and changed the layout a bit.
I'm also combining this with the HYCCT1305, Pink Camo challenge & to make my 'camo' in various shades of pink, I tried Lydia's Bokeh Bgl because it looked like so much fun. I used the pencil eraser & the 2 pink inks to create the Bokeh bg directly on my card front. On the smaller top layer, I die cut the sunburst circle & stamped the greeting and ribbon in the lower left. I used the lightest pink ink to stamp a splatter pattern on the corners of the top layer. After die cutting the butterfly and the solid wing backing, I used Copics to color the intricate butterfly a pale pink then used the same splatter image to add some more color to the center.A pink rhinestone and some pink sequins finished my 4.25 x 5.50 card.
Congrats again, Darlene, enjoy your week! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff
