Welcome to my challenge on this 4th day of our Hope You Can Cling To challenges. The SCS community comes together each October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month to inspire everyone to create lots and lots of cards to send off to MD Anderson cancer center. The patients there are In it to Win it! so let's help them along with inspiring, uplifting and funny greetings created with our little fingers.
Today's challenge is to 'Punch Out Breast Cancer'. Use punches or die cuts to create a card for a patient. Be inspiring or funny, use any colors and any design you want. Just make sure to reach for that punch or die cut for this challenge. I can't wait to see what you create!
I kept my card today simple using some sponging and silhouette images which is my usual style. I combined Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant, and River Rock for the sponged background. Using those same colors, I then stamped the silhouettes. A few stickles to highlight gives it a bit of sparkle. I took the ink pad and rubbed it directly on the edges for a little vintage finish. I just love this Unity greeting which I purchased just for my October cards that really says it all! My punched elements are the little butterflies.
