Each year we lift the spirits of patients at MD Anderson Cancer center with cards- lots and lots of cards. Join us as we kick off this card drive for the entire month of October. Do them all, do some. Win prizes. Yea!
For this challenge, we want to show courage and strength using the colors Orange and Red on our card. I call on the memory of my own sweet sister who had the courage of a lion as she fought her battle with cancer. The Cowardly lion is always my tribute to her. This year our Lion sits in a field of poppies I created with some masking. He is stamped and colored w copics and popped up in the meadow. His crown says Courage. I incorporated the orange in the lion's mane and the sunset. The red is brought through with the poppies in the field. Let's be inspired today by those we know and love and their courage. Thanks for viewing.

LOVE! The very first time I saw my husband he was playing the Cowardly Lion in a local production of The Wizard of Oz.
