Thanks Ladies! I have to admit that my nieces and their brother, my nephew do hold a very special place in my heart. Their father (my youngest brother) decided to walk away from the Lord and his family when my nieces were four (nephew 3 mos old) and my sister-in-law has raised three beautiful children on her own with the help of the Lord, family and our church family. He sees the kids only several times a year (his choice), has decided to live with another woman that has five older kids from a previous marriage and has never divorced my SIL. Along with help from the Lord thru our church family, my SIL has been able to fulfill her desire to be a stay at home mom by teaching piano lessons from her home, homeschool the kids (the girls will graduate this year and their brother is in the 8th grade now). The girls (or should I say young women) are both so artistic in music (Julie also has taken voice lessons and Katelyn is dabbling in fine arts) not not mention both excel scholastically and are part of a wonderful youth group at church. Of course, I am not biased one bit - lol!! We tend to spoil them- we do love them so!!

Quite an amazing story Julie, your passion shows through in your words and your artistic gift with paper and ink. Sounds like you're a wonderful SIL and have handled the disappointment of your brother well. God's Grace is amazing!

Amen, PammyJo! The Lord is AMAZING and His Grace and Love is Everlasting!! Without Him we can do nothing and I am so thankful for all of the blessings He has bestowed upon us- truly my SIL and my nieces/nephew are evidence of His Love! We are still praying for my brother to return to the Lord...God's plan is perfect - we will not know the reason for what happens here on earth until we reach Eternity!! I know that He has been glorified thru the testimony of their lives and they love serving Him :-) God Bless and have a fabulous week!
