My layout for the 2nd VSBN challenge. Another new technique for me. Not sure I captured the look very well with the light green ink (which I'm not convinced goes with the paper), but it was a fun technique to play around with. I like the subtle background behind the title.
My daughter is *NOT* a girly girl, so I had to add lots of black to the pages to tone down the pink a bit.
I also have issues putting the title on the right side of a 2-page layout, but I'm trying to handle it! LOL! The layout, btw, is from the CTMH "Make It From Your Heart" Volume 2 Idea book, pg13.

Hum, can't remember thinking about the title, not a problem if you are following a sketch, right?! Anyway, I think you did perfectly well with the lime green and the pink. Looks perfect with the playful photos, not girly but totally sweet!

Fun die-cut to use, and it's just right for your page! I think the pink/green color scheme with touches of black strikes the perfect balance, and the little butterfly on the umbrella really pops. Love it!
