This design is from a card that was in a folder on my computer that says “Fall” cards and I cased it and only changed the leaves. I am not sure where I got it from. Hers is probably inked instead of chalked and hers is not a birthday card. SOOO I cannot take credit for the design of this card.
I once again have used the paper I made with the alcohol ink and die cut the leaves out of it and then shaped them. I used some specialty paper from our local Scrapbook store that is called “crisscross” to make the whole card out of. I cut a piece of it and then got my chalks out and chalked the edge of it (These chalks are from the Stencil Collection) The cool thing about them is that they don’t have to be ”set” with anything…they do not smear or rub off and they (the company) are supposed to replace any color I run out of. I have not checked to see if they are still in business…I bought these 6 years ago at a convention, but chalk takes forever to use up!
Getting the twine to cooperate was the biggest challenge on this card.
I think? the sentiment is Penny Black and it is stamped in SU Cajun Craze

Wow ... the paper you made for the leaves is GORGEOUS!! And the way you've layered and shaped your leaves look like they so real. Beautiful design ... love the twine.

Love those leaves again! No clue how you get so much texture to them but they sure are beautiful and life like! The twine is perfect and I can relate to wrestling with it a bit! Awesome cards and definitely a favorite!
