For this week's ways-to-use-it challenge: squares. Any quilter knows that there's a LOT that can be done, creatively, with squares. Nose down and elbows up, rifling through my files (curiously, a great source of inspiration--) I found this old stencil of quilting blocks. Eureka! I used it to mask, sponge, and over-stamp the traditional "card tricks" block. Fun. tfl

I should have known you'd come up with a wonderfully creative use of squares like this, Brenda. Something tells me you really like sponging and masking too ;-).

A beautiful quilt block indeed! I love quilts but haven't made one in more than 30 years. That is an especially nice sentiment to go with it. Love the soft look of your card.
