Lesley (aka LionsMane) posted a Merry Monday challenge on her blog to create a card using vanilla, dark brown, red, gold and some shimmer.
I used a vanilla card base and focal image piece, then layered in dark brown and red. I used brown to die cut the branch and red to cut a little bird. The hanging stars are stamped and heat embossed with a shimmery gold embossing powder. The red cs is also shimmery but it doesn't show up in the photo. There is one more bit of gold - the gemstone creating the bird's eye is gold.
It's also for my September quota for SCS's Christmas Card Challenge and the Fan Club's CT0913 theme challenge "Branching Out".

What a wonderful card you have created, Susan. I love the ornaments hanging from the branch and the cardinal. you have used the colors in a clever way. Thank you for joining us at Merry Monday.
