This card took a long time to create. Lots of drying time. I stenciled the encyclopedia page using cream colored acrylic paint. When that was dry, I ink spray smashed it using markers.I stamped the Mark's Finest Papers NATURE"S BRUSHTROKES dandelion using black stazon. After masking the dandelion I stamped another one over the first. I then added green to the stems with a green prisma colored pencil. Then I took white acrylic paint and the end of my paint brush to make the white dots on the dandelions. I glazed it with Aleene's tacky glue. I outlined the oval with a gold pen. I used versamark and gold ep to make the gold trim on left side and sentiment.(Sending Happy Thoughts- MFP). It is kind of a CAS layout, but I doubt that I could use the word simple when describing this card. As always thank you ladies for the wonderful challenges.

Wow Marilynn, this is absolutely gorgeous! You must have the steadiest hand in the world to do that gold leafing and free hand work. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around "masking the dandelion." I am trying to imagine cutting that slender stem and leaves. Amazing work of art and once again, thanks for sharing your details.
