Loved, loved, loved this sketch. It was just what I needed today. My friend Pam and I challenged each other to do the sketch with the same stamp set. MFP- Nature's Brushstrokes. Here is her card. We used the same set, sketch, and we both have a dragonfly and twine but such different looking cards. I stamped and masked my dandelion images using black stazon. I then took white paint and the end of the paint brush to add little white dots to the dandelion. After the paint dried I put dots of glue and gitter. I used green colored pencils for the stems and leaves. The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Paper set called Cracked Hello. The dragonfly was stamped on white cardstock and watercolor/markered and then glitterized. It is from MFP set called Dragonflies. I used scalloped decorative scissors and a tiny circle punch to make the black lacy mats for the striped circles. The long panel is black cardstock covered with drywall tape, wrapped with twine and crocheted lace. The encyclopedia page is from the "M" encyclopedia and is the page on magic.(Hence title.)

MariLynn - this is just gorgeous! It certainly shows that you had fun with it. I love the way you did the dandelions and the contrast with the black layering and the text paper.
Marilynn, this is absolutely gorgeous. Lots of work went into this card and it shows. So well done. Great idea to challenge a friend with the same stamp set.
