This is my card for this week's MMTPT challenge. Since Tyler is only young I thought an action card would be fun, and I thought if I made a Wiper Card I could have a fishing scene that incorporated a hidden frog.
I followed the tutorial except that instead of the card strip for the wiper, I used acetate, scoring it well several times so that it folds down. The inset shows the closed card.
Image stamped on watercolour paper, masked and the background stamped and sponged in. Image coloured with distress inks. I think Fred's got an unfair advantage fishing in such a small puddle ;-).
For MIX32 I used the salted background technique to make Mr. Frog look a little mottled.

Are you kidding me? Tyler will love that you personalized it for him and then to have a frog POP out at him when he opens it...I can just hear his giggles! This is an AWESOME card for an 8 year old little boy! Your front is adorable too! Plus doing a split screen to show the card both ways! You are so smart!

Fun and cute, Sabrina!! Love the interactive part of this card, especially with the frog popping up! Yup, it sure does look like Fred is at a disadvantage with that little pond, but he's doing pretty good, since he caught himself a live one! Great dp and personalization!

Oh my goodness this is fantastic. I saved it straight to My Favs before typing a word!! Everything about this is wonderful. Can you imagine young Tyler's face when that cute little frog hops up. Perfect card for this weeks Teaparty.

This is SO adorable for him! All that coloring, sponging, stamping, design work and that charming frog at the top had to take you quite a bit of time. You have a lot of heart in this and it shows in this wonderful creation!

LOL at the fact that the bear has an unfair advantage fishing here, but what a great idea for a wiper card!! such a great card for a little boy - I'm sure Tyler will wear it out opening and closing it to watch Freddy pop out - you are such an awesome card maker!!! Hugs!

Leaping frogs! This is so inspired Sabrina. I love your action card. Kids like action cards and they also like things with their name on it so you have it covered a couple of times over. Super cute.
