Okay, this might look a little funky but let me explain. This is my first time to try a new to me technique and I sort of rushed it. Next time I will be more careful...the how's to's....
Can't remember where I saw this technique, but it intrigued me to give it a try. My only problem was doing it in the negative form for the MIX challenge.
I started with a page from a magazine, Put down the stencils and a frame stencil I cut out. On the exposed parts, I brushed on Polymer Gloss, removed the stencils and let it dry. Okay, I rushed it by using the heat gun.
After it was dry, I tore off a piece of Never Dull and started rubbing it over the stenciled parts. It removed all the ink from the paper giving it this really cool look. Next time I will be more careful when I put on the gloss so as not to let it seep under my stencils making them look a little blurry.
Put this on a cream card and added the Bliss sentiment that I don't know where it came from. I think if I was walking in the night hand in hand with my DH I'd be in bliss too. hehe
Since there is a frame on this it qualifies for the F4A challenge. Plus we have a new QFTD, CherylQuilts. I chose this card to loosely case. I mainly used the same colors. Cheryl enjoy your reign. You have a beautiful gallery.
Well that about does it for today. TFL :0)

Very cool! I've polished a lot of brass using a similar product, now I have to give it a try on a magazine!

Never Dull... who'd a thunk it!!! Very creative use of the product... I'll have to try that one. Love the dreamy (or should I say blissful) feel of your card.

Really awesome Cathy!!! WOW, this is so unique!! I wouldn't worry about not going slow enough or letting the gloss slip under your stencil. I think the result you got is perfect. Now if you were to try that again, I bet you'd have a tough time. I love your work - totally one of a kind and pretty much uncaseable. :>)
