I'm posting this in honor of TrishG who does such a great job hosting our Queen for the Day Challenges. We've been going back and reviewing our queens and this week is for queens with names starting with the letterxs T-Z....well TrishG qualifies and you're a queen in my book. I didn't do a direct CASE but notice that you use a favorite technique of mine the embedded embossing or inlaid embossing technique as on this pretty card. I still had a few leftover pieces from making cards earlier this week using the lattice diecut. I laid the diecut down and traced through the holes. Then I glued down my pieces of Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler in the lattice pattern. I decided to punch some Artichoke 1/4" circles to add to the centers. I then embossed (actually debossed) in the Square Lattice ef. In keeping with the quilting theme, I then stitched my piece onto a Cherry Cobbler base. I then embossed my sentiment in Pewter.
Thanks so much Trish for all you do here at the site and the inspiration and encouragement you provide!

Fabulous card. And my love for quilt continues...Yours is such a wonderful example of a quilt card with all the negative pieces. Love the combination of colors, love the square lattice with the embedded pieces, love your stitching around the card.
Thanks for sharing.
