I must say Sabrina that you picked a great challenge to-day but this card took me all day to create! Sigh*... Firstly I made 3 or 4 burlap roses until I found one that was satisfactory! Then 3 die-cuts for the inside just to get it right! Keeping the beads from rolling around and the cat away was the biggest job! LOL The DP is from K&Co, the die-cuts are Marianne Designs and the greeting is Starform. The inside uses a Sizzix die-cut and embossing folder. I wanted to keep it fairly simple because the outside was so busy and quite frankly I was exhausted! LOL

LOL....you're too funny....the part about keeping the cat away actually made me laugh out loud! I've had cats. I know whereof you speak. Anyway....IMHO it was worth the effort....you're so creative....your card is an absolute masterpiece!!

Oh my - but that is GORGEOUS, Sue. I bet to any other eye the first two roses would have looked perfect. The twine you've used which looks as if it had been pulled from hessian is perfect with the rose, and so is the soft sponging on the greenery and the delicate colours and texture in the background.
And as for the beads - I'd wear those as earrings, they are just beautiful. I'm sorry it was such a tiring card to make, but whoever receives it is going to be so pleased that it will be worth it all. The sentiment makes me think a little of a cameo brooch - perfectly in keeping with the feel of the rest of the card.

OK Sue this is stunning.....I know you worked hard on this masterpiece, but it really is beautiful. All your elements fit perfectly together. When I think of beading on a card .....dangling comes to mind, and you dangled them perfectlly. Great shading on the leaves to make them pop. Into my favs. tfs
OMGosh - WOW! What a beautiful card and your beads with that amazing flower are rockin! Love the brown twine behind - what a fabulous touch! WOW card all the way to town!!!
