This card is for our son Patrick. His birthday is this weekend.
This is also for the featured stamper FS341 Heidi Baks. You have a wonderful gallery and congrgratulations on being the featured stamper!!!
Her card has an embossed background, die cuts, and no sentiment. Hers is in grey, and has a ribbon, and banners. I was thinking of putting the sentiment on a small banner but I am looking for input!
I need some advice...The sentiment is going to be "Gears to you" Happy Birthday....Should I put the "Gears to You" (computer generated) on the outside or inside? When I tried it on the outside it seemed a distraction. (but maybe it needs that...)I love the rich chocolate look of this. The gears (Tim Holtz dies borrowed from a friend) were actually cut in a metalic copper but they do NOT look shiny in ANY picture I took. They are roughly the same color as the embossed cardstock (unknown). Ribbon from Jo Ann's.

Very cool ... love those gears!! I think a banner sentiment on the front would look good ... maybe bottom right-hand corner?? If not, then put it on the inside. Love the depth of color with this brown - gorgeous!

Peggy, this card looks good enough to eat! I love the rich chocolate colors! As for the "Gears to you" a banner and embossed in gold, or a little tag hanging off the beautiful ribbon, even nothing works for me!

My goodness, only you, Peggy, could make even gears look elegant! This is so rich! I like it just the way it is, but I'm sure you'll make the right decision about the sentiment, you've got a good eye!

Peggy.....step away from the card......this is perfection on paper. Oh boy, this is incredible. I agree with Brigit, only you could make gears look elegant. Having said that it is a very masculine card. I think this is going to be the most CASED mans card in SCS history. Happy birthday to Patrick.
