Joan's interesting Freestyle Design challenge today took me waaaaay out of my comfort zone.
I'm not even sure I've carried it off, but I did my best by using a repeated script element as well as colour to try to unify it.
A2 textured base, stamped with Canvas in milled lavender and tumbled glass, and an HA script stamp in tea dye.
The long strip is a K&Co border.
The little felt flowers were cut from the felt pads left after doing polished stone backgrounds, with clear buttons laid on top and then pearl brads holding the buttons on.
Butterfly, foliage, stamped shrink plastic tile, charm and glittered die-cut all came from my scraps box. There are some little punched blue flowers layered underneath, too - rejects from Ky's Mix-Ability challenge last week.
Sentiment from Carte Postale.
And now I have to stop neglecting the housework!

Really pretty! I love that border with the gold and copper! The faint script on the side is a fabulous element to this and really adds some balance and interest. I think you successfully pulled it off...this turned out quite lovely!
