Congratulations Heidi (hlw966) on becoming our latest featured stamper. Your gallery is absolutely full of amazing works of art. I chose this card to case MF113 Teacher Thank you
I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock and embossed with white ink. Smudged whisper white ink on the black card stock to look like chalk. Made the frame. Made the base card using jumbo polka dot dp, matted with black cardstock. Sponged edges with vintage sepia ink. Sewed edge. Tied on black cording. Popped up the image panel. Punched out two circles (1 1/4") and placed onto of frame.
This is also for the Free 4 all challenge F4A182 - to used dots.
Tlc410 - chalkboard
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Heidi.
Hugs..Pat

I love your card Pat!!! So many amazing details. I like the frame on an angle like that (and the frame is done so nicely.) Great patterns with kind of a neutral look, and the black cording is really cool. Great job!!

Pat, what an amazing card! Love your corners and tilting of your chalkboard. Cool circles cut out to mimic your background paper.

I'm glad you eliminated the flower in your case of Heidi's card. I think it would have taken away from the wonderful wording on the slate. These words are ones we all should live by. TFS, gf. Hugs, Anne
