Here is my project for cathymac's WTUI challenge to use sun rays.
I didn't have any sun ray things that I could think of, so I decided to make my own with some gelatos by Faber-Castell.
I took a generic old notebook and altered it with gel medium and gesso from the Textural Accents Sampler from Faber-Castell. Then I colored with all of the colors from the 50's Diner Designer Colors Gelatos. I blended the gelatos with a plain ol' baby wipe, added a little Washi Tape (of course), and I was done!
If you haven't tried gelatos, you must! They are SO much fun!!!

Ilove the way you altered this notebook! Great job with the gels.

I hadn't realised the polka dot was Washi tape - it's gorgeous!! I love the texture and warm colours. DH was looking over my shoulder the other day and asking what Gelatos were. Wonder if he wants to get some to try ;-).
