This is my card for this week's sc449. Janette is our hostess and she gave us a great sketch to work into a card.
I needed a sympathy card so that's the route I went this week. I still had the paisley petals dsp out from my cc439 card so I decided to use that for my background. My card colors are early espresso, river rock and baja breeze.
My center panel is cut in river rock cs and I used a Sizzix ef. Added some baja breeze pleated ribbon over this layer.
My sentiment panel is cut from the Spellbinders die labels 28. I completed my card with 3 punched butterflies. The pennants are cut with the Verve pennant trim die.

Your ef and ribbon are so pretty Mary! Love those butterflies with the pearled centers; a great embellishment to this lovely card~ Thank you for your comment, it meant a lot to me~ : )

Very pretty card in these soft muted colors (this looks like a lot of the colors I have in my home..walls, couch). The pleated ribbon and embossed strip add some lovey interest to this. Nicely done sympathy card.
