I saw a card similar to this on Handcrafted by Helen's blog (link below) and it made me think of Provence in France. I did not have the right embossing folder, so I actually used modeling paste to make the stone façade. I dyed it with a couple of drops of a Tim Holtz reinker.
The window is a Spellbinders D-lites die. I purchased several of these on eBay and am in love with them...such great detail. I used a Ranger Dabber to paint it a textured white and used blue ink around the edges. Inside the card is some striped wallpaper from an actual wallpaper sample. It can be seen through the window, which is a thin square of plastic.
I did not have a die for the flowers, so I made them by using the smallest six-petal flower punch and trimmed the petals to the center. I pinched each one so they propped-up the way you see them, and I added a tiny, half pearl.
