I had chosen this card of CAS Honored Alumni hskelly/Harriet's to CASE and had done a more literal CASE. I didn't like the placement of my window, and the other CAS designers had also chosen this card to CASE so I hadn't uploaded it yet. When I saw today's TLC challenge, I decided to revamp my card.
Instead of dp as Harriet used, I masked my edges then stamped the Sanded bg repeatedly. I then stamped my foliage in Versamark and embossed in white ep. I cut a circle frame out of black and also cut my window. I layered my frame onto the window and added the butterfly with pearls.
*If you'd like to see the first version before I revamped-it's on my blog

That sweet red butterfly adds the perfect final touch. Gorgesou card, Gail.

I went to your blog to look at the one you revamped - interesting to see your process and reasoning! And I do like this version so much better - it's really lovely! The black frame is a perfect addition.

The Sanded background is amazing - it looks like one of those mesh speciality papers. It looks lovely with the way there's still a very faint hint of it through the white of the flowers.
