I love the lacy die-cut butterflies floating in the raised panel and, since I make more Christmas cards than any other type of card, I immediately wondered about changing the butterflies to the lovely lacy ornament die-cuts by Memory Box.
The dies are cut out of the white panel first (these ones are set aside for a future project) and then cut again out of the coloured cardstock to use in the holes left in the white panel. Because the panel is raised and the dies are so lacy, it's tricky to keep them in there - I put tiny pieces of dimensional tape wherever possible.
Congratulations, Harriet, on being chosen to receive Alumni Love from the CAS card makers!
I'm also listing the card on the SCS Christmas Card Challenge and the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown (their challenge this week is a card with red and gold).
