IF FRIENDS WERE FLOWERS, I'D PICK YOU! I thought I had that sentiment but it wasn't where I thought it would be. I thought the little jumping guys looked so fun as they tried to pick" the blooms, that when I locate the stamp, I'll stamp it on the inside of my card.
This is my card for today's IC challenge. Stef took us to a shop called Michele Varian. Products ranged from decor to furniture to jewelry to art, and more. I was inspired by the color and flowers (that's what they looked like to me) on this pillow:
I also chose a bright pink, solid colored pillow to add more brightness to my card. (Sorry I forgot to copy the link.)
There were so many items that had a metallic look, that I also added metallic gold centers to my daisies.
I am also submitting this for last Thursday's WT439, to use a background stamp or create your own. I did the latter. I stamped the SU linen bkgrd in vintage photo distress ink, then again in tumbled glass. I added visual texture to the sky via stamp pad direct-to-paper. I also inked the edges.
THANKS for looking!

Wow, I love your background and cute image! You achieved SO much texture with this. You used direct to paper and it came out this beautiful? I usually have a streaky mess. Your combined techniques for your sky along with those flowers and little guys made this card fantastic!
