I hosted my first circle journal swap and discovered a whole new world of inspiration and techniques. One Journal inspired me the most...the one by Joan7356. I LOVED her she-art ideas and explored the realm of these beautiful paper dolls! This is actually my first she-art girl I made. I cut her face, arms and legs from old music paper...it has such a great color I couldn't resist. I drew on her hair using a marker...then I found paper to match the colors of Joan's book. I didn't use gesso, paint or any real mixed media, but I had fun adding different papers and rub ons that I would normally have never paired. I had a cute poem that I added that seemed to match the whole scene. This was a real challenge for me and I'm sooo happy to have found a new form of art! Make sure to check out She-Art by googling or bing it!! There are some very talented artists out there!!
