Yes...Let's hang out! Do you remember the smell of fresh sheets, right off the line? And the crisp feel of sunshine? I have a friend dear to my heart, and we have never seen each other eye-to-eye, but we know each other heart to heart, and this is her birthday card.
I used my favorite background set of all time from Kittie Kits. You can find them HERE. The lil bits of cloth are from a pack of fat quarters from my local quilt shop and I added a mini clothes pin I have had forever.
Fresh sheets, fresh friendship! Someday, I hope we can hang out!!! Hugs....
Thanks for looking!

Such soft and lovely colors. The least used appliance in my home is the clothes dryer - I still hang my clothes to dry, not outside as much these days, just feel like I'm being kinder to them, and do miss my old clothes lines. Nice touch with the purity ribbon and that cute little clothes pin, and you used a fave die of mine. Hugs!! .

Well, Pat, you sure know how to use those Kittie Kits!! Your background is like looking out the window into the backyard at home!! What a cute idea of the "fresh sheets" billowing in the breeze - yeah - I miss that , living in an apartment now, but I love that smell of fresh air when you can dry them outside - oh, the things that the younger generations are missing out on!!!!
Hope someday your friend will get a chance to visit and slip into a bed with pretty sheets like those!! This will make her birthday special, for sure!!

Really nicely done...and yes, I do remember...Not too hard to remember because I hung all my wash outside on the line two days ago. I always hang my wash out on nice days...(although I didn't do that when I was working 12 hours days...) I didn't like to hang my wash out in the dark! LOL

Kittie needs to hire you to sell her kit - I don't think anyone uses it as perfectly as you. I have tried but I never come close to the wonderful things you create with it. This makes me want to go dig it out now. What a fun and so inspiring card this is. I am putting it in my favs to study more later and maybe case it some day. What a great card! Hugz - the kind people gave when hanging laundry was common - not the sissy ones people do now! LOL! LYMI!
