I don't have a sister but one summer, when I was a teenager, I would baby sit two sisters two afternoons a week. Their mother would always give them money for the ice cream wagon and they would sit on the curb waiting and waiting to hear the music. Made my job easy! I can still see those little girls on the curb!
I gave my clouds silver linings for Debby who will receive the tea pot challenge cards this week. Debby is the sister of Elizabeth (I love rubber.)

What kid of our vintage doesn't have memories of the ice cream truck? This is such a sweet card, Deb will love it. Thanks so much for making such a bright and happy card for my sister.
Cheers, Elizabeth

Cute, summery card for Deborah! Like your little truck and all the bright, cheerful colors. During the summers spent at G'ma and G'pa's, I remember listening for the ringing bells of the Good Humor ice cream truck. When G'pa was home, he always bought us ice cream. Fond memories. Thanks for sharing yours, too.

What a fun memory. It's funny... sometimes I'll hear the ice cream truck, and I still have that urge to run out and find it. This is such a nice, cheerful card, and the silver linings are perfect.

see you are bringing ice cream to the tea party. Cute card and brings back memories of when i was a child awaiting the ice cream truck. We have one that goes around the neightborhood and is nice seeing the young ones running up to it.

I love your story, isn't is great when a card can evoke so many memories, it makes the card even more special. I love everything about this super cute creation.
