What do you think, are these colors to feminine for a man's birthday card? I made this for my Dad, who will be hitting the big 80 next Monday. I wanted to put a lot of candles on the card, I didn't reach 80, but there's more on the inside and the envelope. I also sent off a request to the White House for a birthday card from the President, I hope my request got there in time.
The rainbow in the center of the circle is fabric, with my embroidery on the top. I use Heat N Bond to adhere to the cardstock.
I love these new Bazzill dp's!

Wow, what a fabulous card to celebrate your Dad's birthday - a rainbow of a card! And I hope he DOES get greetings from the Whitehouse, just to make the day all the more special! Love the colours, this is such a happy creation!

I think that is fabulous.
(and I make my dad flower cards all the time he gardens...) so, nope I don't think the colors are too pretty for a guy card. I think birthday's are supposed to be colorful and full of fun, this reflects that.
thanks for playing!

Your dad will love this and will appreciate all the work you put into it. I can't believe you did that stitching by hand...holy crapola that's awesome! Thanks for playing along in the DTGD challenges!
