This week's CAS Challenge is Inspired by Song Lyrics, "Mamma told me not to waste my life, she said spread your wings my little butterfly.” Little Mix, “Wings” This wasn't a song that was familiar to me so I went to youtube and watched the song with the lyrics. I must say, that at this point in my parenting life, the idea of telling my kids to spread their wings and fly has a whole new meaning! I thought of my desire for my kids to really soar as they take on new challenges and head off in their own directions.
I die cut some butterflies in black and sheet music and used ModPodge to glue them together. I used a Sakura pen to add clear glittery accents.I sponged a Marina Mist Sky onto Soft Sky paper. I die cut my letters in black and tilted them in a way similar to the music video I had watched. I added a few sequins as my butterfly trail as I saw someone do on a card recently.
