When I saw this cutie patootie from my friend, Loll Thompson, I knew right away that I had to play along with this week's QFTD Challenge, which was to CASE one of the past queens starting with letters J-L.
I changed out the image and colors and added some paper piercing around the edges. I kept the layout, paper piecing and no embellishments to detract from the focal image.
The bear, bee, shirt, flower stems and shoes are colored with COPIC markers. The flowers and their centers and the coveralls, shirt stripe and buttons are paper pieced. Used a white pigment pen for the dots on the coveralls.
This also qualifies for DTGD13Twinshappy challenge.

OMG Debbie ... this is soooo adorable!!! Love that image and it's perfect for paper piecing. The pierced border is a nice detail! Thanks so much, my friend ... I am so honored!!

OMG Debbie...your card is just SO cute, just like Loll's :-) I love how you added the dots to your overalls. The dot motif of the flying bees and paper piercing all look so creative together. TFS
