This is for two challenges...first the Queen for a Day...this week it's all the J thru L names and since my friend Joanne (jojot) is in this group, I had to enter. She has such a BIG fab gallery but I cased THIS card. I kept most of the layout, just made it horizontal and added a bit on the side.
And this is for Latisha's DTGD challenge and I had the pleasure of being on the Dirty Dozen w/ her. You'll need to be a Fan Club member to get all the dirt on the challenge, but that's easy..Fan Club info We have a DTGD Challenge Gallery 2013 this year so be sure to upload your creations there instead of the member gallery. I stamped the pickles in two colors of green ink to make the background. The pickle circle was colored with Copics and die cut with a circle die. The scallop circle behind it was stamped with the Baking Gift Tags (March 2013 release) and die cut with the matching Recipe & Tag dies. The gingham background was stamped w/ the cantaloupe ink on a piece of yellow textured card stock. I die cut a canning jar and stamped a pickle and  the greeting inside, and added some color to the lid and jar. A die cut fancy foliage flourish was added as well as some seam binding I colored with Copics and three little buttons.
Thanks so much for looking! All the details, including the colors of Copics used are on my blog: The Write Stuff

LOVE THIS!!! I love that you've used the pickle stamp to make your own dp (and that you've used several different greens to do it), that you've used yellow to contrast, that you've used three different green buttons instead of all the same, that your tag is a Mason jar, that you've added a flourish and a bow. Yeah, I totally love this and must now add it to my favorites folder - thank you!
