I made a simple get well card using a lovely hydrendria stamp (not sure if I spelled that correctly -- too lazy to get up and check my gardening book!) What inspired me to use this stamp was my trip to Carmel, CA that I took a couple of weeks ago. Several lovely gardens that I saw there had such beautiful hydrendria bushes in various colors. Hydrendria's must not grow well here where I live because I hardly ever see any around. It's pretty hot and dry in my part of Southern California. Instead of coloring it the usual color blue, I chose to go a different route and color it more of a reddish-pinkish color.
Hope you enjoy!

They are colored beautifully, and there are red hydrageous. Beautiful get well card. They do like cool shady areas...we can even grow them in Wisconsin. We have to plant the hardy ones, so they winter over ok. tfs

GORGEOUS!!!! Love how you went bright and cheerful instead of muted to pick up the spirits of whomever receives this fabulous card. Thanks for getting doctored up with me this week!
