My card today fits challenges from Tiffany, Beate, Vicki, Vicki, Julie, and Bridget!! I combined a few fun and favorite techniques to create my background - I started by embossing the Peacock background in white, then dabbed acrylic paints on the panel and scraped them around with the edge of a plastic card. Haven't seen this done before, so I have a tutorial video in the works - it's really super simple, and a very cool mixed media effect. What should we call it??

Wow - too cool! I love the combination of colors and how your BG image pops. The extra "texture" of your smear lines is fabulous. Are you a textile designer? This exudes such a batik-like richness. Thanks for the inspiration...you (and it) are treasured.

Fantastic, Dina! Love this. It's amazing how relaxing mixed media techniques can be. I like the thoughts of textile, and Batik. The design reminds me a little of brocade too. Let me think on it.
