For Judy's technique challenge today, we were to select from one of the first 50 technique challenges for our design. I chose TLC09 Crayon Resist. It was one of my favorite techniques when I first started stamping.

Hi Charlene!! You know I have never done this technique - at least not with a real crayon. Your card is so pretty!! I love the colors you used and the paper piercing you did around the diecut.

This is fabulous. I thought about doing crayon resist too, but couldn't figure out how to make it work with my smooshed wildflowers. I love how it looks on yours. That image looks like Queen Anne's lace. I learned today how to tell if it is Queen Anne's lace instead of Hemlock which has a simlar flower. In Queen Anne's lace there is a small purple flower in the center. I thought that it was a really cool fact. I had to go outside and pick some to see if it was true. I ended up smooshing it on my card. Queen Anne's lace when smooshed look a golden rust color. I love how the piercing around your frame looks.

What gorgeous colors and thanks for the reminder of the technique! I did try it once, unsuccessfully but you did an outstanding job of it! How vibrant this is! Beautiful card!
