For Lynn in St Louis' and Understand Blue's Dare to Get Dirty Challenges and for my August quota for SCS Christmas Card Challenge.
I love holly as a motif so used a holly dp and stamp. I wanted to stamp the holly on green that matched the green in the dp and I had my Twinkling H2Os out from another card I just made, so did a green colour wash on a piece of watercolour paper and then stamped and heat embossed my image on that. I coloured in the berries with a red marker and added a couple of scraps of red ribbon.

Great card, and glad you have one of your holiday cards done and out of the way. Tell me, would you have used ribbon on your project, had it not been for this challenge? I'm just curious. =) Some people don't like to use ribbon, and others can't imagine creating a project without it. Either way, I'm glad you did, and thanks for playing along with the DTGD challenge! {{hugs}}

Love the creative way you made the green match your designer paper! Thanks for the reminder to get busy on Christmas cards too! Wonderful card and love the holly motif!

Wow I didn't realize you had washed that background - I was wondering how your berries stood out so well on green cardstock until I read that! Great job on the challenge!
