This is for Bev's (TexasGrammy) challenge.
I made the background this morning, and then perhaps because it was so similar to the baby-wipe background I made for the TLC, I ground to a halt. I was going to make a fresh background in different colours, and then I consulted DH when he got home from work.
He said use a dark colour, and ovals and a verse. OK, I switched out the verse for a floral image, but he was spot on with the strong dark colours ;-).
A2 base. Dark blue Bazzill.
Because my background has silver in it, I added a silver mat layer in as well as the dark blue.
Cuttlebug Vintage corners - with silver Liquid Pearls.
Oh So Lovely stamped in the die, coloured with Polychromos, highlighted with a gel pen, over-stamped (out of the die) with Linen in Tea Dye, and then the edges sponged with Antique Linen. Image panel popped up on foam.

That is one awesome background and lucky you to have a husband who suggests!! This is so eye appealing with your use of color. Love the neutral panel with the delicate flower as your focal point!
