This is for my first DTGD2013 card for Lydia's Challenge and is also a CASE of this beautiful card by QFTD20 Francie G. I didn't watercolor as beautiful a scene as hers, but kept the basic layout and addition of a leaf diecut. I stamped my pear and watercolored it with ink from my ink pad lids and an aqua brush. I then masked over the pear and stamped with the French Script. I sponged all my edges with Crumb Cake as well as sponging my leaves in the die. I added a linen thread bow and stamped a sentiment in Soft Suede.
This will go to my mom who on top of her metastasized breast cancer now has a C-Diff infection that knocked her down with serious GI stuff. We were supposed to travel to a reunion this weekend, but needless to say, she's not going anywhere and I ended up staying home as well. Mom loves pears!

I'm sorry your mother has this to deal with, Gail! It's a shame you miss the reunion but this is a cloud with a silver lining if you get some stamping time you weren't expecting. And a gorgeous card to show for it, too!
